75 mile Keys Cycle Challenge – April 22, 2017

Challenge yourself to an endurance bike ride and enjoy the scenery of the Florida Keys. This is a safe way to bike the majority of the Florida Keys (mile marker 104 to 36) while testing your abilities. Join a group of 20 riders as we take a day to push our limits and bike one of the most beautiful parts of Florida. Feel comfortable and safe with our shadow bus following behind the pack.

8:30pm Drop Off at Bubba Gump Bayside Marketplace

9:00pm Drop Off at 72nd and Collins, South Beach

Cycle the Florida Keys

Package Includes:

  • Roundtrip transportation Miami to the Florida Keys
  • Shadow bus with spare bike parts and A/C
  • Cooler full of ice
  • Gatorade, water and soda for hydration
  • Team BBQ afterparty in Big Pine Key
  • Beer to celebrate your success

The bus will shadow the last group of riders and pick up anyone who needs it and fix any bike issues. The bus will also position itself every 20 miles for a water and snack refill station.

 

We suggest you train on the bike you plan to use. It should be a proper bike that can keep a pace of at least 10mph (no beach cruisers).

What to Bring:

  • Bicycle (available for rent $30)
  • Helmet
  • Hydration
  • Energy food
  • Change of clothes
  • Spare tire and tools
